  • Tuesday nights at 7pm there is a study group covering 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Bible.  Study guides are provided and you can view videos covering these topics here.
  • Sabbath (Saturday) afternoons following our fellowship meal we periodically have studies.  You can also watch episodes of past presentations online here

Appreciation Ministry - A quarterly distribution of baked goods to fire department, police officers, healthcare workers, etc to let them know we appreciate their service.

Children's Ministry - Upon request classes are provided on Saturday mornings at 9:30am for children.  Ages go from 0 to 10 with interactive classes, singing and crafts.  Please contact us if you are in need of this service while you worship with us.

Education Sponsorship - Each week we take up an offering during the 11:00am worship service to help sponsor a teenager at the Rio Lindo Adventist Academy Boarding School.  This offering is combined with funds from the Hayfork church to help make a Christian education available to young people in our areas.  This offering is one of two offerings and is taken up at the time in the bulletin called "Children's Offering" just before the sermon.

Fellowship Meal / Guest Dinners - Each week there is a vegetarian buffet luncheon in our fellowship hall after the worship service.  All guests and members are invited to attend the worship service at 11:00am and then stay by for a time of fellowship and great food!

Finances for Mission / Ministry - Each week on Sabbath mornings we have two main opportunities to give to worthy projects.  It is a time we are all together as a church family and hear both the needs as well as the inspirational stories of the lives touched by our combined giving.

  1. 9:30am - After the Superintendant Remarks there is a  mission story followed by an offering.  This offering goes to a worthy project and is combined with members' offering from around the world to collectively make a dream a reality.  Every three months a different project is chosen.  To learn more about what projects will be sponsored so you can plan ahead to give click here
  2. 11:00am - After the "Invocation" / Opening Prayer there is an opportunity for the loose offering (what has not been put in an envelope and designated) to go to a worthy project.  Here is how it works: two weeks out of the month the offering stays here at our church for local projects and two weeks out of the month (three if there is a fifth weekend) the loose offering goes to a designated project.  To see the schedule so you can plan your giving click here

Food Pantry Donations - We collect donations for the Food Pantry of Weaverville by having a basket in the fellowship hall by the Refrigerator.  Info: Trinity Congregational & St. Patrick Catholic Church  Food Cupboard - Wednesdays 10-12 530-623-3101.  You can also find more information about food resources in Trinity County here

Light the Dark - 2013 marked our first year of participating in the downtown fall candy distribution.  We had one goal in mind: give people healthy and helpful items that can point them to Jesus in some way.  We gave out decorated "cuties" with our connect2life website labels on them along with light-sticks for the kids and waterbottles with our label on them for the adults.  This has sense become an annual event with each year surpassing the previous one!

Operation Christmas Child - This year we sponsored two "shoeboxes" for children overseas.  We hope to make this an annual project, so plan now to participate each November.  Check your bulletin for more information as November gets closer.

Web Ministry - One of our outreach endeavors is to provide a website with life-changing study resources as well as local resources to help you learn, grow and live an abundant life.  Visit www.connect2.life.weebly.com to learn more and share this with anyone in the Trinity County area.  We have had a growing number of "hits" on this site since it launched in September of 2013 and business cards are available in the foyer or on the table in the sanctuary.
